I went to church yesterday and the sermon was about worrying about weight, money, etc. The pastor read the exact verses above: Matthew 6:25-34. I felt that God was speaking to me yesterday and then today I came across this site. I only have about 15 pounds to lose, and some may say I don’t need to lose any. I have always tried to lose these 15 pounds on my own, only to find myself gaining the weight right back. I know numerous times I have had God speak to me saying he will help me if I create a deeper relationship with him and ask him for help. I never made the time to sit down and read His word or create a solid devotional time. The time I spend snaking, I could be talking with him instead, and actually being spiritually filled rather than physically filled. This site is a great motivation and a confirmation that God is speaking to me. Thank you for your post!

I bought the CD set Banking On The Glory and Ascending a couple yrs ago after listening to Katies testimony on Sid Roth. This was so far out from mainstream that I put it aside after a couple of listening sessions. But I thought maybe I will give it a longer look at later….as I am doing so now….many mainstream churches probably look at this as some kind of new age or fringe occult but I have to tell you that I am going to keep listening to the Ascending message….I believe that everything else I am looking to receive for Gods Glory WILL fall into place just as it has been meant to all my life………EP

Paul experienced what we should all want to experience: God speaking directly to us. God teaching us. The Word of God within us. Individually, we will reach a point when we need a word not found in the scripture. Jesus himself said that He want to tell his disciples things but they were not ready. Likewise in this current phase us Christianity, many are not ready to hear the words “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

“It is more blessed to give than to receive,” Jesus says.
Is this in any of the non-canonical gospels )ie, Gospel of Thomas, etc)?

I need prayer my life is crumbling before me i want to walk wit god so bad my flesh gets the best of me at times.for a couple of months since i had my bby I’ve had heartburn the whole pregnancy my babys 10mnths i have constant heartburn to were i get chest pains it scares me pain shoots up and dwn my left arm also when i get this horrible heartburn i feel the burning in my stomach down to my anole docters just give me medication that dosent work,i get burning threw out my whole body like fire times i feel like I’m not going to make it what’s wrong wit me”Lord i repeant for my sins”HELP ME PLEASE
